If the MT-09 powered three-wheeler (MWT09) concept strikes a chord with you, that’s probably because you remember it unveiled by Yamaha two years ago, in October 2015. Just last year, it was confirmed that the MWT-09 three-wheeler concept will materialize.

And Yamaha has delivered. Just today (25th October), the Japanese conglomerate revealed the 3-cylinder, tilting three-wheeler named the “Niken”. The bike measures 2.15m x 0.885m x 1.25m (Length x Width x Height), coupled with two 15 inch tyres.

At this moment, more information pertaining to the bike is scarce, but we can intelligently assume - smooth swerving, superb handling and naturally, an eye-opening riding experience. According to Yamaha’s press release, the model is equipped with Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) technology to minimize any discomforts of changing terrains. It is also able to achieve exceptional performance during cruising, as well as the ability to meander through winding roads.
