Yamaha Unveiling What's Inside their Christmas Stocking January Next Year at the International Consumer Electornics Show
Japanese conglomerate Yamaha Corporation continues to push boundaries on the motorcycle home front as they delve deeper in technological advancement. We heard that they might be unveiling some of their new projects during the annual International Consumer Electronics Show this coming January in Sin City (that’s Las Vegas for all of you who don’t know) so we’ve listed two of the motorcycles you can expect to see early next year.

First up is the highly-anticipated MOTOROiD. This model got people talking as soon as they heard it had artificial intelligence, making Yamaha one of the leading motorcycle manufacturers to make their bikes autonomous. The MOTOROiD is able to read the rider’s biometrics and sense his movements, which comes in handy when you’re about to fall as it will prop you back up and correct your position. Although it’s still a concept for now, we can’t wait to hear about it moving into production.

Another vehicle you can expect to see is the MOTOBOT Version 2. Now, when this bike participated in a virtual race against Valentino Rossi two months ago, it lost to the Italian by a significant 31.764 seconds. But that’s not to say that it’s still, admittedly, a pretty impressive bike. Don’t be alarmed by the robotic structure atop the bike as it’s actually a storage space for all the actual hardware that makes the MOTOBOT 2.0 autonomous. Oh, and it can also race around a track on its own with a speed that exceeds 124 mph.
