The annual Monster Energy Supercross is an FIM World Championship and the 2018 season was hosted at the 55-thousand-filled stadium of the University of Phoenix, all of which saw Eli Tomac score his second consecutive overall event win in Glendale.

The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider was leading the moment the race started in the 450SX Class Main Event. He was 23 laps ahead of Justin Barcia from Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory Racing.
Tomac said on the podium: “That was a big, big push. The pressure behind me was there the entire time; you couldn’t miss a line. I nailed everything … That was just awesome. We put in a big effort all day and to go out on top was the best.”
Meanwhile, Barcia finished second-place, earning his third podium of the season. In third place is Team Honda HRC’s Ken Roczen, leaving with his second podium of the season ahead of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson. Still in the process of recovery, Marvin Musquin of Team Red Bull KTM Factory Racing finished with an impressive top five.
