Triumph Proves Relevance of Name from First Quarter Financial Reports, 2017 Looking Good So Far
It seems like British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has not been touched by the bad luck that seems to be hitting a lot of firms this year as the financial reports released last June reveals quite a fiscal first year. Their worldwide revenue reportedly grew by nearly $122 million to almost $667 million.

Meanwhile, retail sales grew by at least 7,000 units to 63,000 in just a span of a few months. Even overseas their sales increased to 86.1% from 85.3%. This month, Triumph dealers beat previous sales by almost 4% compared to 2016, and a huge increase of at least 90% from December of 2015.

Although, we kind of saw this coming with their multiple releases like the Street Triple, Bobber Black, Speedmaster, and Tiger 800 and 1200. In their financial statement, they said they just “continued to develop its excellent motorcycle range”.
Despite a challenging year for the UK, including most especially Brexit, “Triumph Group has performed strongly and has maintained its commitment and investment in research and development,” a Triumph spokesperson said, “with a view to furthering the continuous improvements of its products.”
Well, we’re just glad to hear someone’s at least doing okay this year amidst a heavy doom and gloom in the motorcycle manufacturing industry.
