Located at the end of Jurong Hill, this once famous place has been deserted by the public for reasons unknown. Because many people only know Jurong Hill for the world famous Jurong Bird Park (to be relocated in a few years), they miss out on this gem of a place. Jurong Hill boasts a rich history and had many distinguished guests and even royalty visit it and plant trees in its “Garden of Fame”. In the 1970s many people such as Spiro Agnew, ex-vice president of the USA, William McMahon, ex-prime minister of Australia and even Queen Elizabeth the II, Queen of England planted trees in the “Garden of Fame”. After visiting the garden, you can go up the 3-storey spiral tower to take a break and enjoy the views of surrounding industrial towns and even see Jurong Island in the distance.
