Royal Enfield has recently unveiled their new custom bike, dubbed the LockStock, at The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club event in London on 25th May. this very special performance powerhouse was built with only one purpose in mind - to have straight line speed.

Based on the 650 twins, the LockStock is a dragster bike so heavily modified that the only remains of the Continental GT 650 are the engine and fuel tank.

Design wise, the LockStock is coated in a simple trio of black, white and gold. Handlebars appear to be extremely low slung, almost vertical, while the single seat is elongated with an incline towards the end.

This combination means that the rider will have to sit rather close to the tank, which seems to be cafe racer-styled with a quick release fuel cap.The vehicle is fueled by the parallel twin-cylinder 648cc engine from the Continental GT 650, which is said to produce a maximum of 47.65PS at 7100rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm at 4000rpm. On top of that, the dragster also comes equipped with a NOS canister to give that extra boost in acceleration, adding on to its straight-line speed.

With the motorbike being fueled by the most advanced engine to come from Royal Enfield yet, as well as the first mass produced engine by the brand that will cross the 160 km/h mark, this custom two-wheeler sure promises heaps of potential especially in the area of speed.

Other features of the bike include an extended wheelbase to enhance stability, a steering damper, suspensions by Ohlins and single disc brakes with a radially mounted Brembo four-piston caliper at the front and a two-piston at the back.

Not much else has been revealed about the motorbike so far, but feel free to check the official pictures that were released by Royal Enfield.
