The Spirit of christmas is alive in amercian motorcycle communities
Cheerful Giving
It is definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Tucson, Arizona as The Renegade Motorcycle Club took part in a selfless act that not only changes lives, but social perceptions, too.

It was a Sunday afternoon when the motorcycle club handed out toys to the Salvation Army and the children of Tohono O’odham Nation at Casino Del Sol. With the quintessential tree inside the lobby, bikers are free to drop off toys that were said to help about of 1,500 Southern Arizona families and 4,000 children in need.
Changing Social Perceptions
Maybe you have watched the Sons of Anarchy. And maybe, you’ve decided that all bikers are members of a dangerous gang that are or have been engaged in criminal activities. Maybe you even think that all are as god-like and handsome as the elusive Charlie Hunnam.
But I am here to tell you that, unfortunately, you are wrong. We all have a heart, a delicate humanity that compels us to be a part of change. I am sure that if we were all given a chance to change at least one person’s life, we would do it. That is what the Renegades did. And the Harbers.
This particular family was also present at the event on Sunday as they felt the need to give back to the community after being in a tight spot themselves some 20 years ago.
The mother, Yolanda Almazan said that she taught her son, Jason, to look beyond appearances and social perceptions to give him “diversity”. She said, “People associate bikers with being bad people and they are not. It’s to give him kind of that diversity all around.”
Far more than their formidable bikes and mysterious nature, let us give bikers around the world the benefit of the doubt and not jump to conclusions upon encountering them. They might have a bigger heart than you think.
