Suzuki Sets Price for SV650X A Week Before Christmas

Posted On : 20-12-2017

Unlike all the other big manufacturers who have come out with a number of different models for the new year, Suzuki has only released one. And it finally has a price.

The Japanese firm’s SV650X, although gorgeous, is not something we haven’t seen before. The café racer is fundamentally identical to the SV650 except for a few styling tweaks, a new tuck-and-roll seat, and one engineering upgrade – the preload adjusters for the front fork - that was said to roll over to the standard SV650.

They coated the rider and pillion footrests in black paint and changed the decals on the tank, with the option to have foglights. It looks sleek and classy with just one paint job – black and silver with a red pinstripe – while retaining the affordability of the SV line. It is significantly cheaper than its competition, the Yamaha XSR700 and Triumph’s Street Twin, at machine price £5,999, about SG$10,818.
