Step into the victorYZone with Yamaha’s 2018 YZ65

Yamaha Motor Corporation USA revealed its new YZ65 youth motocross bike to complete the company’s 2018 model lineup. Featuring an all-new engine, chassis, suspension, bodywork and more, the YZ65 is designed to provide young riders with top-notch performance and reliability while racing towards the victorYZone.

Remember that 30-second teaser video we told you about last year? Well, the cat is finally out of the bag. Yamaha just released their all-new YZ65 youth motocross bike.

 

 “With the addition of this exciting new youth motocross bike, aspiring young riders who are beginning to experience the thrill of competition can do so as members of the bLU cRU,” said Yamaha Motorcycle Product Line Manager, Derek Brooks. “This all-new bike builds on Yamaha’s renowned history of performance and durability, which translates into great value for parents and endless moto fun for their kids.”

 

The all-new 65cc two-stroke engine features Yamaha's legendary YPVS, mechanical power valve system for a broad spread of power and torque across the entire RPM range. It features the same advanced technologies found in Yamaha's race-winning YZ125 and YZ250 motocrossers.

 

Meanwhile its new steel frame and adjustable front and rear suspension was designed around the rigidity balance required for the 65cc class. Delivering excellent grip even across bumpy track surfaces, its Maxxis tires offer riders the traction confidence and tunability of full-size motocross machines in a compact package.

It will only be available in April this year, with thee MSRP of $4,599.
