It is currently (American) football season, and the much-anticipated Super Bowl will be back this Monday, which means a whole slew of companies will be vying for the best television spot for their ads. We all know if you advertise your product or service in the Super Bowl commercials, you are more likely to reach your target audience.

“The power to do anything is within you. Make it happen,” is the slogan of the Squarespace’s new commercial for the upcoming Superbowl 52 on February 4. Keanu Reeves, avid motorcyclist, stars in all of the website-building company’s ad campaigns.

This year is no different. Squarespace, one of the most popular website building services out there, has enlisted Hollywood A-lister Keanu Reeves to star in its advertising campaign ‘Should You Make a Website?’ It will be aired during Superbowl 52, when the Philadelphia Eagles play against the New England Patriots on Feb. 4.
Aside from the stunning stunt Reeves performed, standing on his motorcycle, he goes on with an inspirational dialogue. “You are an important person, a unique creature. There has never been anyone like you, and never will be,” says Reeves in the video. Apparently, the power we possess (to make a website?) is so great we can literally soar like the birds shown in the sky.

In a 15-second teaser by Squarespace to air on Super Bowl 52, Keanu Reeves puts his dreams on the Internet. And it’s all about his mistress, motorcycling.

Reeves is a well-known motorcycle enthusiast, which makes him the perfect fit for this ad. Squarespace Chief Creative Officer David Lee said of Reeves, “More than anything, Keanu is a kind soul. He has a spirit and strength of character that is absolutely unique. He fell in love with the message of this campaign as much as we did, and worked tirelessly to get this work done. We couldn’t have picked a better person to partner up with, and we’re really looking forward to sharing this campaign with the world in the coming weeks.

Take a look:

“We strive to make our advertising as genuine as possible, so we always keep an eye out for the most interesting people on our platform to see what brave new ventures they are launching out into the world.

“In addition to being a customer, we felt Keanu’s persona was a perfect fit for this creative—he’s a bit mysterious but also regarded widely as a good person. After meeting with Keanu and learning more about his company and his vision, we knew we couldn’t work with anyone else.”

In a press release, Reeves said, “When I found out that this Squarespace campaign would be for the Super Bowl, I got butterflies in my stomach. I love football, I love watching the Super Bowl, and I love the entertainment of the advertisements that are a part of the game and the experience.”
