Scene Stealer: Moschino's Latest SS18 Collection Features Models Turned Biker Chicks Turned Ballerinas
Moschino’s SS18 Collection is to die for and here’s why.

Fashion’s latest rebel, Jeremy Scott, 42, did it again with his edgy biker pieces that walked the Moschino runway in Milan. Since 2013, he has worked as the creative director of the Moschino fashion house as well as the sole owner of his namesake brand. Notorious for his outlandish incorporations of pop culture to his designs, he gave a nod to the true pioneer of the edgy and vintage fashion trend that has since made its return – bikers. That ratty, faded Harley Davidson tee you’re probably wearing right now with your ripped skinny jeans was inspired by bikers’ nonchalant way of dressing that effortlessly oozed out cool.

Scott definitely earned our respect for inspiring us to dress our best when we mount our beloved motorcycles. Combining the classic leather jackets with a tutu? Why not!
The models, the likes of Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls, stepped out on to the catwalk as 80’s-inspired biker-slash-ballerinas in an array of zips, fishnet tights, and studs. Ballet tulle skirts, mesh tops, chokers, sunnies, boots, and even bodysuits. And all with leather.
To close the show, Scott emerged from backstage in an iridescent leather jacket, ripped denim jeans, studded, silver loafers and of course, his signature My Little Pony Moschino in blue pastel. Oh, lest we forget, black aviators too.
