As stated by the Italian company Pirelli, “everyday is race day” with the new Diablo Rosso Corsa II Tire (DRCII). Cited to be the company’s first multi-compound motorcycle tire with the ability to transfer racetrack performance into street versatility, the tire has some new and very interesting features.

The racing inspired structure results in increased agility and more accurate trajectory. There will also be a double compound on the front and a triple compound on the rear made up of 100% silica and black carbon. These features mean an increased grip in various road conditions and different lean angles, enhancing safety and even confidence when cornering even in the dreariest and wettest of weather. The DRCII also features a new thread pattern with slick shoulders for contact patch optimisation.

With that being said, all these new features ultimately bring about a high performance tire as well as the anticipation for its official release.
