Recently, with the commotion of the new cameras on facebook. It may be still unclear where is the exact location of these cameras. We have gathered sources that these camera are new technology and are deployed to capture speeders and red light beaters. With this cameras, we advised that everyone should reduced their speed be it a speed camera or a red light camera.
To help bikers be more aware of the new camera at 2 areas. SGBikeMart team went out to get a clearer picture of the cameras at where they are located.
New Camera at Upper Thomson Road
The new camera at Upper Thomson Road towards Lornie Road. Just before the junction to Jalan Todak towards Sin Ming Road. Keep a lookout as there will be a Blue Red light camera sign before it.
The new camera will be right in front after the 2 sign you saw. We have checked with LTA that the road speed limit is 50km/hr and we advised that you keep your speed lower before the sign to avoid being snap.
