New App for Travelling Bikers Offers Flat-Rate Lodgings and Local Riding Knowledge
A new mobile application called ‘The BikerBuddy’ is for the motorcycling community to connect them with each other and bring them together. Available in iOS and Android gadgets, the application offers information on other bikers geographically near you who are offering up their place to stay for a low rate.
If Bumble BFF helps you to “Find your new best friend”, Biker Buddy helps you to find your new biker best friend.

It is not only convenient, but also very helpful in building friendships with other like-minded people. Its specific target audience being bikers, they will be able to “share their passion for life on two wheels” and possibly even had shootouts in the future if they manage to get along well.

Paul Douglas, the co-founder of BikerBuddy, has the same thoughts on the matter. “BikerBuddy is more than places to stay on a road trip,” he said. “It’s about knowing you can rely on who you’re staying with to have some motorcycle knowledge and there’s a lot of value in that.” To exemplify, some hosts provide wash stations or work stations for their biker guests as well as local riding knowledge. In Douglas’ opinion, “You can’t get that from a hotel or a traditional vacation rental.”
Hosts typically offer flat-rate lodging which means that the rest of your budget can be used for more of your desired activities and not the usual amenities.

Nightly rates are $20 per tent spot, $30 for an RV or camper stay on the host’s property, $40 for a private room, and $100 for a house. Depending on your needs, the flexibility of the rates is definitely in your favor.
And by offering an array of services and spaces, hosts can earn money as well. Talk about a win-win!
