MT-09 SP recently unveiled - adapting some features from the MT-10 SP plus a new suspension set-up
During the pre-EICMA press conference, Yamaha unveiled the MT-09 SP – probably to complement the success of the MT-10 SP revealed late last year. In fact, various features of the MT-09 SP has been adapted from its predecessor.

Various similarities include the “Silver Blu Carbon” colour scheme, blue stitched seats, swingarm-mounted license plate, and SP graphics. Headlights and position lights are LED, along with a white on black LCD instrument panel. A 847cc triple-cylinder engine powers the bike, along with a new set of electronics such as switchable traction control, quickshifter, and a slipper clutch.

Suspension bike, the 193kg (wet) bike gets an adjustable Öhlins rear shock which is paired with a remote adjuster, as well as new front forks which are tuned for improved rebound and compression damping.

‘Featuring a high standard specification that includes Öhlins equipment as well as dedicated colouring and unique finishing, the radical new MT-09 SP builds on the significant strengths of the MT brand, and takes the Hyper Naked riding experience to a new extreme.’-Yamaha
