Road users, rejoice.
This move was done after LTA conducted a review of its Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates for the 2018 June school holidays.

Make sure to take advantage of the reduced rates while you can, because ERP rates will revert back to its original charges after the holidays, starting from June 25th onwards.
The next quarterly ERP rate review will take place in August 2018.

The Electronic Road Pricing system is a form of road pricing that uses a dedicated short-range radio communication system to deduct the charges from cards in the vehicles when they pass through any gantries while the system is in operation.
However, with other new road technology by LTA in the works, such as the Automatic Number Plate Recognition or the Global Navigation Satellite System, alternatives to the ERP may be implemented in the future.
In the meantime, the ERP is here to stay.
