More Electric Motorcycles: J Concept by Kawasaki Actually Looks Pretty Cool
“The future to us isn’t constrained by today’s limitation,” the voice narrated. “It is set free by our imaginations.”
It looks like a really cool video game concept except it is not a video game and it will no longer be just a concept. Kawasaki is aiming to soar to ‘New Heights’ with their announcement video of the ‘J Concept’.

In an effort to defy the naysayers and shake loose the grip of imitators, Kawasaki presents a shapeshifter-like model of a Niken. From High-Performance mode, which is the standard riding mode, this new bike transforms into a Niken, another wheel added to the front, when changing to ‘Upright’ mode. This mode allows the rider to sit in a, you guessed it, upright position unlike the usual hunched-over riding position.

However, when switching to ‘Attack’ mode, the bike retains its Niken-like qualities but drives the rider forward into a more focused, go-getter riding position.

“For more than a century passion has driven us to push the boundaries of exhilaration,” Kawasaki USA wrote. “You can see this in the way we’ve shaped the past, and in our innovations of the present. With new levels of exhilaration as our goal, passion guides us into the future.”
In the video, the bike lights up neon green and it would be really awesome if the actual physical model executes that. Is there even going to be a production version? We reckon it is highly likely as, why would Kawasaki make a teaser video otherwise? That would be just plain cruel.
