Following the immense success of the previous RIDE games, the company will be releasing the 3rd edition this year, and will be made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC/STEAM.
The RIDE franchise is a series of games dedicated to motorcycle fans, and it is also known to be a well put-together tribute to the motorbike culture. The RIDE 2 edition even won the Guinness World Record for ‘Most licensed bikes in a video game’ due to the realistic game experience offered.

Now, RIDE 3 will offer bigger and better updates. According to the game developers, RIDE 3 “has been revised especially in terms of realism, customization and for the variety of content included: a mix of elements that make this third edition of RIDE the ultimate motorbike encyclopedia, a realistic and adrenaline-packed title dedicated to those addicted to racing.”
While maintaining the identity of the series, RIDE 3 will also bring to their fans a whole new riding experience, with brand-new features and elements to make the player feel the adrenaline like a real rider.
The list of tracks has been increased to satisfy the players’ different needs, with GPs and Supermoto tracks for those who want to feel like professional riders, Country and City circuits for those who want to (virtually) ride in the most iconic places around the world, Road Races for those who love to race on road circuits, and Drag Races for those who prefer acceleration races that take place on straight tracks.

RIDE 3 will also improve engagement of players via the innovative customization options which include an innovative Livery Editor, which helps to expand customization to a completely new standard. In fact, the only thing players will be limited by while customizing their bikes is their creativity, or lack thereof.
According to the press release from Milestone, some other key features of the game will include:
- More than 230 bikes at DayOne divided into 7 categories, including a new one.
- 12 brand new tracks, adding up to a total amount of 30 tracks.
- Diverse customization possibilities, this will enable players to customize their bikes from both a mechanical and aesthetic point of view to suit their personal tastes
- Mechanical customization options to include more than 500 customizable bike parts: players will be able to craft their perfect ride, whether it be the engine, brakes, suspensions or wheels, they will be able to modify to their preference.
- Aesthetic customization will offer the Livery Editor for limitless creativity.
- Extreme realism will be experienced due to the Unreal Engine 4 which provides a “great visual rendering as well as detailed particle and lighting effects and a photorealistic level of the environments”. Night modes will also be offered.
- Drone Scanning System allows the game to reproduce all tracks down to the smallest detail
- Completely revised career mode that tells the story of a specific bike category, manufacturer or iconic tracks
- Improved AI, a new physics simulation and a revised collision system

Milestone will release RIDE 3 on November 8th this year.
