Marc Marquez, 9 out of 9.
Marc Marquez has won another MotoGP race, this time on a very strange race on the Germany MotoGP race. Riders decided to switch their races in the last moment and most of them had to start the race from the pit lane. Only Stefan Bradl started the race from the regular lane. Which was a very curious image this MotoGP race has left us.
Weekend started with some troubles for Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, which both crashed during qualifying sessions, but in the end Marc Marquez secured another Pole Position and Dani Pedrosa managed a second position, Jorge Lorenzo finished fifth and Valentino Rossi was right behind him, on a sixth position.
But soon Marc Marquez started to pick up position, and by the fourth lap he was already on second place, being followed closely by his team mate Dani Pedrosa, that has recently renewed his contract with Repsol Honda Team two more years. Soon they overpassed Stefan Bradl that until then, was leading the race in solitary.
Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, who has also renewed two more years for Monster Yamaha MotoGP, were pushing hard and soon they were behind Stefan Bradl, trying to keep up with the Hondas riding by Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa but it was too late for them and the Hondas ridden by the Spanish duo were already a couple of second ahead of them.
Jorge Lorenzo managed to stay in a comfortable third position, which is one of its best racers in almost a month and Valentino Rossi stayed in a fourth position. The race remained like that until the end, Marc Marquez was first, Dani Pedrosa second and third place was occupied by Jorge Lorenzo
Marc Marquez is unstoppable, he has already beat the record of Valentino Rossi with more than seven races won in a row and is now really close to equal the record of Giacomo Agostini of ten victories on a row. Within two years on MotoGP he is acquiring the status of legend and nobody really can venture on how far is Marc Marquez is going to go. Within two years he will, almost without doubt, be two times champion of MotoGP, something that other riders have achieved in much longer time spans, for example, it took Jorge Lorenzo 5 years to be two times champion, another five years for Casey Stoner and three years for Valentino Rossi.
