Statistic of Marc Márquez has clearly shown his great improvement from the bottom to the top. His amazing performance has earned him the first position in MotoGP 2013-2014. But will he get his 3rd straight win at MotoGP 2015? This will be a tough question because Marc knows who his biggest rival is, who his biggest opponent is. In one of the interview, Márquez mentioned that he is slightly more worried about the Yamaha racer, Lorenzo. He added on that Lorenzo is a bigger fear to him and he is definitely a bigger threat than Valention Rossi or his own Honda teammate, Dani Pedrosa. He expects Lorenzo to be the biggest and strongest rival.

Next, let us see what his biggest rival got that cause so much fear in him. 1987 born Spanish racer, Jorge Lorenzo the Yamaha racer, too, have some history going on in the book. Maybe this is one of the reason why Márquez regards him as his biggest rival than any other.

Jorge Lorenzo

2013: MotoGP, Position 2

2012: MotoGP, Position 1

2011: MotoGP, Position 2

2010: MotoGP, Position 1

Now, it is clear why Jorge is a strongest rival to Marc. His statistic have clearly shown that he is not only a threat to Marc but to anyone else. He consistency in Yamaha from 2008 to 2014, a straight 7 years with Yamaha has gotten himself at the top four. Being the champion of MotoGP 2010 and 2012, he surely has got the skills to beat Márquez down to second place, earning himself the first placing for MotoGP 2015. However, it is still uncertain because Marc, on the other and can also be a serious and deadly threat to Jorge. 2015 MotoGP will definitely be exciting. There are too many strong and skillful racers around, not forgetting Dani, Rossi and many other potential racers.
