Macna Aytee Jacket Features Night Eye Technology

If you’re looking for a good quality riding jacket, this may just be the one for you. The Macna Aytee is an all-season touring and adventure jacket for men that provides both visibility and comfort.

The jacket incorporates a revolutionary Night Eye technology that brings the visibility of motorcyclists at night to a higher level.

While it is a normal grey coloured attire during the day, it will light up during the night. This is due to the microscopic glass beads integrated in the Night Eye fabric which allows even the smallest amount of light to be reflected right back to the source.

 

Other than the Night Eye technology, the outside layer is also semi water resistant and highly breathable. Made of synthetic ripstop polyester shell, it has a rubbery, stretchy feel for a good fit. This tight and stretchy fit also means that the material doesn’t flap around when riding.

 

Furthermore, the cuffs and waist area have velcro fastenings which allows the rider to wear the jacket to their desired tightness, and the hoodie also has a clasp so that it doesn’t flap around in the wind as well.

The second layer is ultra-thin and made of lightweight waterproof RAINTEX material, while the final layer is a warm thermal quilted material.

Now, you may be thinking, this jacket may not be so suitable for sunny Singapore, which is known for its sweltering weather. Fear not! The Macna Aytee jacket also comes with two chest vents and a rear exhaust vent for extra cooling. The fact that it is also waterproof and suitable for all weather makes it compatible with our island’s only two seasons as well.

The Macna Aytee jacket doesn’t lose out in the pocket department either. Featuring six exterior pockets and one interior pocket, the pockets are placed in strategic locations like the two lower waterproof hand pockets. The jacket also conveniently comes a small pouch in the quilted liner.

Made in Europe, Macna also uses Safe Tech CE armour in all their apparel, which means this riding jacket has 420 shoulder armour and 530 elbow armour - both fairly stiff, and a full-length rubber back protector which is a softer and more comfortable material.

 

The Macna Aytee jacket currently comes in 3 colour schemes - black and blue, black and grey, and light grey and orange.
