Lucky Biker Slides Under Moving Semi-Trailer Truck and Comes Out Unscathed
If you’ve seen the video above, you would know that you have just witnessed something akin to a miracle.
Aboard his orange, 2012 Kawasaki Z1000, California-based motorcycling vlogger “Hammy Moto” was riding down a freeway when he started experiencing the “speed wobbles”. He wasn’t as lucky as this guy, because the speed wobbles got so violent Hammy lost total control of his motorbike and was sent flying off the vehicle.
According to Hammy, he was merging into the freeway, checking traffic before venturing into the carpool lane. And when he got next to the carpool lane, he decided to merge in after checking and quickly accelerated in first gear.
The video then started when he got into second gear, where his weight was too far back on the bike while accelerating coupled with the extremely bumpy road, thus leading to those deadly, extremely violent speed wobbles.
“I'm very lucky to be alive,” he stated on his Youtube channel.
“I slid through a tiny gap between the trucks rear tires and the trailer stand. If was going any slower or faster, I wouldn't of been so fortunate. The only injuries I got was a very small amount of road rash on my knee and hip.. Nothing broken. I'm very blessed.”
Indeed, the fact that Hammy was able to walk away from this incident completely unharmed (physically, at least) is just simply amazing. Meanwhile, it will take quite a bit of time for him to come back to the riding world.
Completely understandable, seeing as he literally just defied death.
