Long Awaited KTM 390 Adventure Expected to Debut Next Year
Following the successful releases of the KTM 390 Duke and KTM RC390 bikes, the KTM 390 Adventure is finally set to make a debut sometime next year.
Targeted at the adventure-touring segment in the motorcycle industry, the Austrian company confirmed the launch of the bike just a few days after the announcement of the BMW Motorrad G310R and G310GS bikes, which are considered the direct rivals of the 390 Adventure bikes.

First revealed by the Bajaj SVP and KTM India boss Amit Nandi, he said: “With the 390 Adventure we would be making our long-awaited entry into the niche premium dual-sport segment which is a very apt segment for Indian roads.”
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure is rumoured to be taking design inspiration from the company’s 1290 Super Adventure motorcycle, while receiving the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the 390 Duke and RC 390 models.
According to local Indian publications, the motorbike will also be equipped with dual front disc brakes and ABS. Other features will include “large wheels, dual-sport tyres, long-travel suspensions, a plush seat, pannier mounts, comfortable seating position, high-intensity headlamp, windscreen” and more.
KTM has also stated that the new model will “provide the motorcycle-touring community a state-of-the-art package to ride long distances and conquer any terrain.”
With its global debut at the EICMA show in November, the long awaited KTM 390 Adventure will then finally be launched to what seems to be an extremely eager audience of riders.
