Kawasaki Ninja 400 riding its way to Europe

When local Milwaukee TV news captured the Ninja 400 on film when it was sighted around the city, the internet went abuzz with excitement and speculation. After being spotted many times throughout the past few months, reliable sources confirmed with Motorcycle news that the Kawasaki Ninja 400 is coming to Europe.

The Ninja 400 ensures improved handling, speed, brakes, and the like as compared to the Ninja 300, which hit the market in 2013. The 296cc bike has not been updated to abide by the Euro4 emission limits, which is also a reason that the Ninja 400 is in the works. The parallel twin Ninja 400 is predicted to be ~400cc, producing about 45bhp of power at 9,500rpm, paired to a six-speed gearbox. It is lenient on the wallet too, as compared to the Z900RS and a brand new Ninja H2-derived touring bike which Kawasaki has been developing.

The chassis looks promising too – stellar styling, high-quality finish, and the company’s trademark KRT paintjob. A nameplate on the bike’s rear shows ‘Ninja 400’. The Ninja 400 will probably replace the Ninja 300. However, there is speculation that a new Ninja 250 is being planned.

It is unknown if the Kawasaki Ninja 400 will be made available in Singapore.

Kawasaki is understandably tight-lipped in regard to the Kawasaki Ninja 400. Fans can anticipate the likely release of the bike in EICMA 2017, at Milan. The bike's machine price will most likely set you back approximately SGD$9100 (after conversion).
