Kawasaki H2, Hype or a Revolution?

Posted On : 27-09-2014

Last week, the motorcycle division of the Japanese corporation Kawasaki Heavy Industries posted on its YouTube-channel first video dedicated to the new H2 sportbikes. That has been surrounded completely by a lot of rumour talk, shady videos, and a lot of hype. Kawasaki wants that the new H2 to make history, something that his motorcycles have done in the past. This last few years Kawasaki has been fighting against dissapareance, they have retreated from the MotoGP competition to focus on more on creating new and exicting motorcycles, this new H2 seems to be pinnacle of that evolution that Kawasaki has created in this last years.

From that small officially available information about the new product, we can conclude that the Ninja H2 will be equipped with a fundamentally new for the motorcycle industry turbocharged engine. Besides turbo engine, whose power exceeds 200 horsepower, Ninja H2 will be realized with a few radically new technologies - at least that's what the manufacturer promises. In Kawasaki argue that the motorcycle expertise not only of the motorcycle, but also experts from other departments: space, gas turbine and other.
Continuing warm interest in novelty, PR Kawasaki produced another short video clip. Video includes references to such iconic sports models for the company, as Kawasaki GPZ900R, Ninja ZX-11, ZX-12R Ninja and ZZR1400, and in the final part of the video, we are given the opportunity to see the first image of the silhouette of the Kawasaki Ninja H2. Unfortunately, the picture quality does not allow to consider all the details of new items, so it remains to wait until Sept. 30, when the official premiere will take place and the revolutionary sportbike Kawasaki. Time will tell if this hype is false or this is something that will change the history of motorcycles. Kawasaki has done both in the past, so we will just wait and see.
