Josh Brookes Back In The Game For Isle of Man TT 2018

Most companies spend their money on ad agencies, TV commercials, radio spots, and billboards to tell you how good their products are. Monster chooses to support the scene, their bands, athletes, and fans, which is why they remain as one of the main sponsors of the Isle of Man TT Races 2018.

The return of the races this season has brought out many great talents to return to the tracks as well. After two years of no show, Australian Josh Brookes is set to race aboard the V4 RR-inspired ‘SG7’ that was hand built at Norton’s Donington Hall factory. It is currently still in the developmental process under two-time TT winner Steve Plater. The 34-year-old has had a successful stint at the Mountain Course last year, with the fastest lap around the TT course by a Norton machine. With 130.883mph, Brookes was seen finishing in sixth place, his best finish to date at the TT.

Brookes has enjoyed a meteoric rise at the TT since claiming the fastest newcomer title at the TT in 2013. He finished a best place of seventh in the 2014 Senior Race, which saw him improve his fastest lap to an impressive 129.859mph in only his second year at the island.

Norton CEO Stuart Garner is understandably thrilled at having Brookes in his team to represent the factory on the Isle of Man. “Josh (Brookes ) is a rider with the ability and potential to rewrite the record books," he said.
