Important Update: New LTA Vehicle Access Code Requirement From 30 June 2025
In line with the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) upcoming security enhancements, vehicle-related digital services will require an Access Code starting from 30 June 2025. This is a significant move to strengthen protection against scams and unauthorised data access, especially for platforms like ours that aim to provide legitimate and verified vehicle listings.
What’s Changing?
LTA will no longer allow the use of the last 4 characters of a vehicle owner’s NRIC/FIN to retrieve vehicle-related information for the following services:
Enquire PARF/COE Rebate for Registered Vehicle
Enquire PQP Payable for Category C Early Turnover Scheme
Enquire Vehicle Transfer Fee
Instead, vehicle owners must log in to the OneMotoring website using Singpass to request and issue an Access Code to a nominated third party (e.g., your trusted motor dealer or SGbikemart).
How This Affects You As A User On Our Platform
To combat fake listings and improve trust among buyers, we now require users to nominate us as your motor dealer through the LTA OneMotoring platform. This allows us to securely and legitimately retrieve your vehicle’s information using the LTA-issued Access Code.
Please key in our mobile 92787788 or email at admin@sgbikemart.com.sg
✅ This step ensures:
Your listing is Verified by us.
Only genuine vehicle details are used
Scammers cannot post fake vehicles using random plate numbers
How To Use Access Code
On the LTA OneMotoring website, vehicle owners can generate an Access Code by entering the mobile number of a third-party recipient (such as a motor dealer). The recipient will receive the code via SMS, with the option to send it via email as well.
🔐 Each Access Code is valid for 14 calendar days and can be used multiple times.
🛑 If needed, the vehicle owner can log in anytime to revoke the code, which will immediately deactivate its validity.
⚠️ If an Access Code is suspected to be compromised, it should be revoked immediately.
For those with multiple registered vehicles (including fleet owners), access codes can be issued for individual vehicles or for all registered vehicles at once—offering greater flexibility and control in managing third-party access.

Why This Is Important
Fake ads have been an ongoing issue in the industry, with scammers trying to trick potential buyers using false or phishing scams. With this LTA update, only authorised parties can access and display vehicle data, helping us build a safer and more reliable marketplace for everyone.
