Here are some of the highlights of the Functional Apparel Collection, sure to delight any dedicated Husqvarna fan:

The MOTO-9 FLEX RAILED HELMET (pictured above) is made for Husqvarna Motorcycles by BELL Helmets. According to the press release, it was “built around a lightweight composite Carbon shell” and “features an exclusive Magnefusion Emergency Release System together with quick-flip visor screws for fast and safe adjustability.”
Ventilation is provided via the chin area and integrated ventilated roost guard.

On the other hand, the MOTO-9 GOTLAND HELMET is designed for off-road use. Also developed by industry specialist BELL Helmets, the GOTLAND has the same features as the FLEX RAILED helmet, with both helmets coming in at a mere weight of just above 1 kg.

The fully ventilated chin area and integrated ventilated roost guard helps to provide optimum breathability.

Head protection aside, Husqvarna is also offering clothing for motocross riders. Available in grey or blue, the RAILED range is extremely lightweight and “made with an intelligent material mix for maximum moisture wicking away from the skin”. The RAILED JERSEY is also an excellent match for the RAILED PANTS, offering freedom of movement and high-level comfort.

The GOTLAND apparel range is developed with the modern off-road rider in mind - the jersey comes with perforated ventilation zones while the pants are made off an extremely hard-wearing material. When paired together, the rider will experience enhanced breathability as well as excellent freedom of movement.

Husqvarna fans will also have a RUTTED VEST to look forward to as well. However, as it is typically more ideal for chilly weather may not be entirely suitable for our sunny island. For those interested in riding while overseas, it may be more useful due to its versatile softshell, multiple internal and external pockets as well as elasticated panels for optimum fit.

CROSSFIRE 3 SRS BOOTS by SIDI completes the Functional Apparel Collection. Featuring some of the latest high-performance boot technology, these boots boast a patented flex system with hyper extension block, a replaceable inner bootie and a fully adjustable calf area.

And of course, where’s the hygiene in wearing boots without socks? Husqvarna will also be offering a unique pair of water and windproof socks that are “designed for the most extreme off-road riding conditions.”

According to the press release, these socks feature a breathable and skin-friendly construction, additional critical zones coverage and a set of warm Merino wool inserts for colder riding days.

The items are slated to be available at Husqvarna Motorcycle dealers anytime from between July and September.
