The generation today is an impatient generation, a generation that wants everything the moment they get it. To cater to this Amazon Prime instant generation, Ducati has made a bike that can only be bought online. Although what huge difference it makes from the conventional purchase in dealership remains to be seen seeing as the bike doesn’t get delivered to your doorstep in a huge box with a bow on it.

Ducati has been teasing the Scrambler Hashtag for a while, the online-only version of the Scrambler that is set to sell in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
To buy the Hashtag requires a €500 online deposit, which then gets you a voucher that you take to a Ducati dealer to complete the sale. Once the final payment has been made, you receive a delivery date where you will have to collect it from the dealership. Deliveries officially start in March.

Design-wise, the new Ducati Scrambler resembles the Scrambler Sixty2 with a blacked out colour scheme and orange lettering on both sides of the fuel tank. Apart from these updates, the bike does not boast of any changes to its specifications or features.

Mechanically, the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag draws power from a 399cc L-Twin engine that produces 40.3bhp and 34.3Nm of torque, while the unit comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are carried out by conventional telescopic front forks at the front and mono shock at the rear. As for brakes, the Scrambler Hashtag gets a 320mm disc brake at the front along with a 245mm disc unit at the rear.
