Ducati first introduced the Hypermotard supermoto back on 2007. It was unveiled at EICMA on 2005, and won several awards. Everybody was eager to know how the final model would look like.

It was indeed a pleasant surprise to know the Ducati Hypermotard filled all the necessities of the typical supermoto client. This motorcycle was fun, light, powerful and just what all thrill seeker were seeking.

On 2013 Ducati introduced a new model of Ducati Hypermotard, and divided the Hypermotard intro three branches, the exciting Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and a model more for touring, perfectly able to do mid-range touring, the Hypestrada.

The Ducati Hypermotard SP was fun, light with under 180 kg of weight, powerful with a power of 110 hp powered by a L-twin Testastretta liquid cooled engine -who some say it's the better engine that Ducati has produced in its entire history-, very easy to ride, magnificent components (Marzocchi, Brembo, Öhlins and Marchesini are present) with top edge technology such multiple riding modes with three-level ABS and eight-level traction control derived from the 1199 Panigale, and a badass motorcycle overall. This price is not accessible to the wider audience, but for those whose pocket is big enough and want a thrilling and exciting motorcycle, they would surely put their eyes on the Ducati Hypermotard SP, a light, powerful and exciting bike. Similar to the Duke of KTM. All reviews got very pleased when they tried the Hypermotard SP for the first time, indicating few defects on this badass motorcycle, perhaps the most pointed error was the significant height of the seat. The rest, was just top notch and Ducati had now presented serious competence to the ruler of the supermoto category, the KTM Duke.

This year, although we don't have significant upgrades on the Hypermotard SP in terms of engine, performance or technology, Ducati has presented the new color scheme for the Ducati Hypermotard SP for the year 2015, which will bring the detailing called Ducati Corse, similar to the already available schemes for the Ducati Hypestrada.

Ducati presented this new scheme for the Ducati Hypermotard SP on one of the most important events, for not saying that is the most important of them all, for all Ducati lovers in the world, World Ducati Week 2014, the ones in charge of the presentation were superbikes world champions Troy Bayliss and Carlos Checa.

Considering where and who presented this new color scheme, we can feel that Ducati feels this model needs to be another flagship of the Italian manufacturer just like in the naked sector the monster is the most successful motorcycle that Ducati has ever manufactured.

The new colors the Ducati Hypermotard SP 2015 will be release from September, as Ducati has pointed. As for Singapore, The price selling may start from $36,000 onwards.
