Calling All Triumph Fans and Virtuosos Alike! The Triumph Factory Visitor Experience Center is Open for your Viewing

The Triumph Factory Visitor Experience Center is not just for motorcycle enthusiasts or loyal Triumph fans but also for aesthetes and generally curious people who love history.

They were Bonneville Coventry Ltd first before they became the more well-known Triumph Motorcycles. They gained the name rights from previous Triumph Engineering and was established in 1984 by John Bloor and became one of the most successful British motorcycle manufacturers in the world.

The Factory and Visitor Experience Center, opened on November 1 in Hinckley, England, is an amalgamation of vintage bike exhibit, science museum, accessory store, and café.

It is essentially free, although tours do need to be scheduled on the website and costs £15, about SG$24, and lasts for at least one and a half hours.

Upon entering, you can find the first-ever Triumph built in 1902, the 1956 Salt Flats streamliner, and, of course, the 650cc TR6R that Steve McQueen used for his jump sequence in the movie, The Great Escape.

The company has also made arrangements with Triumph collectors to display their vintage motorcycles at the Center, meaning that the exhibits may change over times according to the machines and pieces that come in.

Just like any other Visitor Experience Centers, it wouldn’t be complete without any type of food-or-beverage option for visitors. On the first floor is the 1902 Café that offers delicious snacks, coffee, and, best of all, free Wi-Fi. Thank you Triumph organisers for thinking of our one dying need!

Meanwhile, on the second floor is the merchandise store that offers official Triumph T-shirts and various accessories. Before you ask, no, they do not offer motorcycle parts. Also on the same floor is another exhibit that showcases the complexity of motorcycle manufacturing. Additionally, the hardware from design processes will be displayed, chronicling the journey of a motorcycle from a concept to actual production.
