BMW Motorrad USA Releases Black Edition Aluminum Cases For 2018 R 1200 GS Models
Sleek and elegant, these Black Edition Aluminum Cases are sure to visually spruce up the motorbikes from the 2018 R 1200 GS line.

In a press release given by BMW Motorrad USA, it is stated that riders of the 2018 BMW R 1200 GS and 2018 BMW R1200 GS Adventure models will be given an opportunity to further customize their touring enduros with the Black Edition Aluminum Cases.
Ben Radzyner, the Manager of Parts and Accessories from BMW Motorrad USA, said: “Designed and manufactured to BMW Motorrad’s highest standards, we are thrilled to be able to offer these highly sought-after accessories and eagerly await the arrival of additional Black Edition products for the U.S. market later this year.”
According to Radzyner, the cases are “constructed of black anodized aluminum” and “built to withstand the rigors of off-road riding and offer a high degree of customer individualization.”
There will be two versions of the Black Edition Aluminum Cases - the Topcase, to be used with the Luggage Rack, and the Side Cases, to be used with the Side Case Carriers.
The Black Edition Aluminum Topcase boasts a volume of approximately 32 liters, and its appearance is designed to match that of the motorcycle. It is best when used in conjunction with inside pockets for topcase, topcase back padding and carrying handles for topcase.
On the other hand, the Black Edition Aluminum Side Cases are best used in conjunction with inside pockets for side cases and carrying handles for topcase. The right-side case has a volume of approximately 36 liters, while the left-side case can contain approximately 44 liters worth of material. The side cases are also designed to match the vehicle, giving it an overall sleek and glossy finish.
