Armed Gang of Miscreants on Mopeds Tries to Steal Motorcycle, Gets Beaten Up Instead
Moped crimes are on the rise lately, especially in London. In fact, it was reported by the London Evening Standard in 2017 that at least 50,000 crimes were committed by gangs using stolen scooters, motorcycles and mopeds.
In the uploaded video, yet another instance of moped crime was recorded.
Uploaded on 11th May, the vlogger, who goes by the name HandMuffWarrior, states that it was the 3rd time he was attacked by moped thieves in the last 2 years.
All aboard their T-MAX machines, the thieving scumbags cornered the victim on a less busy road before attempting to attack him.
Luckily, Mr. HandMuffWarrior managed to fight them off after courageously standing up to them, even though the thieves were armed. The man even came out of the fight unharmed.
However, his motorbike “sustained major damage as a result of this attack”.
The video has since garnered more than 71,000 views, with various users congratulating him on managing to fight off the gang of thieves.
Mopeds are small motorcycles that typically travel at about the same speed as bicycles on public roads. Driven by both an engine and bicycle pedals, these vehicles generally have a less stringent licensing requirement compared to other motorcycles and automobiles.
This means it may be easier for criminals to obtain these smaller machines and use them to make speedy robberies on unaware citizens.
