799cc Parallel Twin Engine with 95 HP and Dynamic Performance

Powering the 2027 KTM 790 DUKE is a 799 cc LC8c liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 95 hp (70 kW) and 87 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch, the engine delivers strong acceleration, excellent mid-range punch and smooth power delivery across the rev range. Riders holding an A2 licence can also opt for a factory restriction kit that reduces output to 47 hp (35 kW), making the bike accessible to newer riders before unlocking its full potential later. Meeting the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards, the engine combines performance with improved efficiency and refinement, while KTM's signature lightweight construction keeps the bike agile and responsive.

Precision Chassis and Class Leading Rider Technology

Built around KTM's lightweight chromium-molybdenum steel frame, the 790 DUKE continues to live up to its "Scalpel" nickname with exceptional agility and precise cornering. Suspension duties are handled by WP APEX 43 mm upside-down front forks and a WP APEX rear shock, both carefully tuned to balance comfort with sporty handling. Braking performance comes courtesy of twin front discs with radially mounted calipers and a rear disc, supported by Cornering ABS for enhanced confidence. KTM also equips the 2027 model with an impressive electronics package, including three standard ride modes (Street, Sport and Rain), Motor Slip Regulation (MSR), Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and an optional TRACK Mode, which unlocks ten levels of traction control adjustment, launch control and advanced throttle response settings. A 5-inch TFT dashboard offers smartphone connectivity through KTMconnect, allowing riders to manage calls, music and navigation directly from the display.

Sharper Styling Premium Features and Everyday Practicality

The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE receives subtle yet purposeful styling refinements that further emphasize its aggressive naked-bike appearance. A redesigned LED headlight, sharper bodywork and bold graphics reinforce its unmistakable KTM identity. The motorcycle also features Supermoto ABS, allowing experienced riders to disable rear ABS for greater control during spirited riding. Optional equipment such as the Quickshifter+, cruise control and the full Tech Pack further enhance both everyday usability and track performance. KTM has also extended confidence for owners by offering a 4-year Premium Manufacturer's Warranty, provided scheduled servicing is carried out through authorised KTM dealerships, giving riders added peace of mind alongside its high-performance capabilities.

A Middleweight Naked Bike That Continues to Set the Benchmark

The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE builds upon an already successful formula by combining a 95 hp parallel-twin engine, lightweight chassis, premium WP suspension and one of the most advanced electronics packages in its class. With its A2 compatibility, sophisticated rider aids, sharp styling and class-leading handling, the latest 790 DUKE remains one of the most complete middleweight naked motorcycles available today. Whether tackling twisty mountain roads, daily commuting or occasional track days, the 790 DUKE continues to deliver exactly what KTM promises—the mastery of control.
