2 of MotoGP's Doctors Find Themselves in Forbe's List of Spain's Best Doctors
Out of the 18 doctors on Forbes list to be the best, two of which belongs to MotoGP’s Medical Direction unit and they are Angel Charte, Medical Director Doctor and head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital Universitario Quirón Dexeus, as well as Xavier Mir, Traumatology Specialist and head of the Hand and Micro-Surgery Unit in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery of the same hospital.

“In the field of internal medicine,” Forbes said, “Dr Ángel Charte is one of the most outstanding.” Of Dr Mir, “Some doctors are known for their involvement in sports… [who] had come to make all kind of procedures in motorcycling riders.”
The Quirónsalud group, in which both esteemed doctors work, has been in partnership with MotoGP since 2013 and was named MotoGP Medical Direction. This is no surprise as the highly-accliamed, prestigious motorcycle sport series has benefited from the works of both Dr Charte and Mir alongside MotoGP Spinal Specialist Dr Enric Caceres, another member of the same hospital in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery.
