Honda NX-4 Falcon for sale.
400cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine (same as the XR400 engine), but with E-start.
Bulletproof engine.
Simple and easy to service if need be.
Road tax is valid until October 2018.
Eligible for NEA $3500 rebate.
Good for those with a 2A license and waiting for Class 2, but don't want to waste too much money on a 2A bike.
I service this bike myself, and these are some of the things I have done to the bike over the past 5 years:
Oil changes (20W-50) every 1000-1500km,
Oil filter change every 2000-3000km (every other oil change),
Air filter clean/change every 5000km,
Valve checks (and adjustment) every 10,000km,
Iridium spark plug.
Full wire harness change in 2017.
Changed:
Starter motor service,
Carburetor washed and cleaned,
Wheel bearings,
Clutch cable,
Pirelli Scorpion Trails,
Headset/steering cone bearings,
Fork oil changes, front fork serviced and cleaned,
Rear brake pads.
Throttle cables lubed regularly.
Chain washed and lubed every week.
This bike has been with me for the past 5 years.
Primary mode of transport to work/school/touring/makan sessions.
Bike outlook not the best (cracked fairing, dirty).
I have a whole box of spare parts to give away as well, so that will go along free with the bike (e.g. taillights, cables, bulbs, brake pads etc.)
