The Ducati Desmo450 MX is Ducati’s first modern motocross motorcycle developed for professional MX competition and high-performance off-road riding. Powered by a new 449.6cc single-cylinder engine featuring Ducati’s signature Desmodromic valve system, the Desmo450 MX delivers strong high-rpm performance, aggressive throttle response, and lightweight handling characteristics designed specifically for motocross racing. The bike features a lightweight aluminium perimeter frame, long-travel fully adjustable suspension, race-focused ergonomics, and slim bodywork optimized for rider movement and control on demanding off-road tracks. Developed with Alessandro Lupino and Ducati Corse involvement, the Desmo450 MX represents Ducati’s official entry into modern motocross competition and showcases advanced racing technology adapted from Ducati’s MotoGP and superbike experience.
