The Ducati Desmo450 EDS is Ducati’s first street-legal enduro motorcycle developed for serious off-road riding and dual-sport adventure use. Based on the Desmo450 MX motocross platform, the EDS version combines lightweight race-inspired performance with practical road-legal capability. Powered by Ducati’s 449.6cc Desmo450 single-cylinder engine producing 63.5 hp, the bike delivers strong high-rpm performance, aggressive throttle response, and lightweight handling characteristics designed for demanding off-road terrain. Compared to the MX model, the EDS features an 18-inch rear wheel, larger fuel tank, enduro-focused setup, lighting equipment, and road-legal components for extended trail and adventure riding. The bike also features a lightweight aluminium perimeter frame, long-travel suspension, Brembo braking system, and advanced electronics derived from Ducati’s racing experience. The Desmo450 EDS represents Ducati’s official entry into the high-performance street-legal enduro segment.
