The Bimota KB399 (2026–2027) is an exclusive middleweight supersport that revitalizes the legendary Italian brand’s presence in the small-displacement category by building upon the high-revving Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR platform. It is powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine that produces approximately 79 hp (80 PS) with ram-air and screams to a 16,000 rpm redline, featuring a standard titanium Akrapovič exhaust for a more visceral soundtrack. While it retains the core steel trellis frame of its donor, Bimota has elevated the chassis with fully adjustable 41mm Showa SFF-BP forks, a Showa BFRC-Lite rear shock, and top-tier Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers for immense stopping power. The bike is wrapped in bespoke Italian bodywork inspired by the larger KB998 Rimini—complete with integrated winglets—and features signature billet aluminum triple clamps and steering components, offering a more artisan and agile alternative to the mainstream supersport market.
