The Beta 450 RC is an all-new, cross-country competition machine designed to bridge the gap between motocross performance and off-road versatility. It shares its high-output 449.3cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine and chassis with the 450 RX motocrosser but adds essential off-road features like an 18-inch rear wheel, a larger 2.4-gallon fuel tank, handguards, and a skid plate. This "RC" (Race-Country) model features the same premium 48mm KYB AOS closed-cartridge forks and KYB rear shock as the RX, but with a unique setup designed for riders who race GNCC or WORCS events on Sundays and hit the moto track during the week. While it retains the aggressive 5-speed gearbox and explosive power of the MX platform, the addition of an O-ring chain and black Excel rims sets it apart visually and mechanically as Beta's premier do-it-all racing weapon.
