The Beta 390 RS is a premium, street-legal dual-sport motorcycle designed by the Italian manufacturer Beta for riders who prioritize handling and "rideability" over raw aggression. It is powered by a 385.6cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that offers a smoother, more linear power delivery than the 350, making it exceptionally easy to manage in technical terrain. The 2026 model features a new double-cradle chromoly frame for enhanced stability, high-quality Sachs ZF suspension, and the Trail Tech Voyager GPS as standard equipment. While it shares the same dry weight of 237 pounds with its 350 sibling, the 390 is distinguished by its longer stroke and lower compression ratio, resulting in a more tractor-like torque that helps the bike find traction where higher-revving engines might struggle. The name difference reflects this specialized displacement; while the 350 uses a shorter stroke for a snappy, race-oriented feel, the 390's additional 36cc provides a calmer, more planted character that Beta calls their "ideal mix" for versatile trail and street use.
