Jettison the petrol kiosks – to charge a Zero, plug it into a nearest socket. That’s all you need. The company takes things up a notch – if you are the owner of a Zero S, SR, DS or DSR, the 6kW Charge Tank charge up to six times faster in as little as an hour’s time using the conventional Level 1 outlet. Batteries of a larger size can be recharged in approximately two hours, if you’re on a Level 2 charge station.
You can easily update your firmware on your mobile devices to boot – courtesy of the brand new Zero app. The multi- purpose app allows the user to monitor battery usage, manage regenerative braking, etc. To top it off, the appearance of most models of the Zero motorcycle will be upgraded in terms of graphics and paint.

Cover more mileage on the Zero motorcycle, with the ZF7.2 and ZF14.4 power packs. The lighter ZF7.2 power pack provides the user with 11% more rear wheel torque. Zero also upgraded the powertrains to supply up to 30% more torque! You will have no problem ramping up the acceleration and overtaking those lorries and trucks on the expressways.

The basic level FX bike costs $8,495, while the Zero S/DS, equipped with a small ZF7.2 battery starts at $10,995. Be prepared to fork out ~$2000+ for a charge tank for that extra boost in speed. If you desire a faster motorbike, a SR/DSR bike, which comes with a power tank accessory and a ZF14.4 battery, will set you back by $19,390.

Currently Zero motorcycle is not available in Singapore. Hopefully, LTA will approve of its distribution in Singapore soon.
