MV Agusta embellishes the spirit of the legendary Alpine A110 with a limited edition Superveloce 800

Italian manufacturer MV Agusta has teamed up with French car manufacturer Alpine for the production of a limited edition Superveloce 800.

Inspired by the Alpine A110- car highly revered by journalists worldwide for its driving dynamics, the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine exemplifies the spirit of the sports car with cosmetic and minor hardware enhancements.

Replicating the A110’s trademark, the Superveloce Alpine adorns the metallic blue shade and the headlamp mimicking the bumper-mounted lights of the car.

Also differentiating for the limited edition from the regular Superveloce 800 is the twin-tone front fairing, CNC fuel cap with Alpine embossed leather tank strap, black Alcantara seats, Alpine emblem on side panels, French and Italian flags on front fenders, CNC machined blacked-out alloy wheels, a grey painted trellis, silver centre frame and Arrow Racing 3 exit exhaust system similar to the 75 Anniversario and 800 Serie Oro editions.

The engine is the same inline-three on the other Superveloces, displacing 798cc producing 147 bhp @ 13,000 rpm shooting the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine to a top speed of 240 kph.

Needless to say, the motorcycle gets a bunch of electronic aids by way of four ride modes, launch control, cruise control, eight-stage traction control, and cornering ABS with stoppie mitigation.

A quickshifter is offered as standard equipment. Marzocchi inverted front forks and Sachs rear monoshock suspend the 173 kgs Superveloce Alpine on the road.

A racing kit on offer trims down the motorcycle's weight to 165 kgs. Brembo four-piston Monobloc calipers paired to twin 320mm discs and a single pot caliper mounted over a 220mm single rear disc.

With prices starting at 36,300 Euros, it’s the most expensive Superveloce on offer with only 110 units planned for production.
