Chinese are at the peak of their game at copying the best motorcycle brands out there. You must have noticed; be it Ducati or Kawasaki, or even BMW, Chinese find it ok to copy the looks and technology of the best.

International copyright laws don't matter when it comes to Chinese manufacturing companies. Here is news for you, the next victim in duplicating the renowned motorcycle is the Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure bike.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure bike is renowned for its bulletproof build and ready-to-anywhere ability. The Himalayan doesn't offer much of the modern tech available in today's bikes.

You would find its charm in its timeless, sophisticated style reminding of the good old days. The Himalayan update had a few tweaks in its design with newly included Tripper Navigation, but its overall performance remained the same as the original 2016 version.
The loyal Himalayan fans got a bit disappointed, but the updated version is at least something!

You are now perhaps wondering, so what's the difference between the Himalayan and Hanway G30?
"Highly inspired" by the Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure bike, Haway G30, was launched in China almost at the same time when an updated version of the Himalayan got launched worldwide. However, with the looks of the Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure bike, Hanway G 30 has much more to offer. Hanway G30 offers some good specs that can attract the attention if you are a starter who is not willing to go for a higher price and want some decent specs at an affordable price.

Hanway G30 comes with the 249.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine generating 26 hp of power and a torque of 22Nm at 7500rpm. A double-cradle frame holds the engine and 33mm inverted front fork. The bike is fitted with a 280mm front disc along with a 240mm rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).

For the bike with these specs, the fuel capacity of 19 litter offers an impressive range with a full top-up. One more notable difference is the wheels. Small 19-inch front wheels and a 17-inch rear unit are the highlights of G30, unlike the Himalayan, which used 21-17 spook wheels. Not bad at all for a copy!
In terms of features, Hanway G30 looks precisely like a Himalayan adventure bike at first glance. But it is not the case with a closer look.

To make it a Hanway has loaded it high tech. The bike is fitted with LED headlights and tubeless tires. Let's not forget the console with a full TFT screen and a dual-channel ABS.

So, here the thing. Hanway G30 is suitable for a nice ride if you have decided to take riding bikes seriously. The motorcycle launched at the price of CYN 17,280 or SGD$3560 offers a pretty decent deal.
Hanway has done a mediocre job with Hanway G30, but wouldn't it be better if the company used its resources to make an original design that helped its growth and reputation.
