The X-Blade will have a full LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, an aggressive tank design, alloy wheels, a dual outlet muffler and a digital meter. The price of the new bike will be revealed in the first week of March. Also included are features such as an underbelly cowl, tall flyscreen, chunky grab rails and a twin-pot muffler. The instrument console is completely digital with a gear-position indicator, service reminder, hazard lights, apart from the usual details.

The new Honda X-Blade shares its underpinnings with the CB Hornet 160R but with a sportier and sharper design language, targeted at a younger demographic.

Power on the new Honda X-Blade comes from the same 162.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor as the Hornet. Its unit is tuned to produce 13.6 bhp at 8500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 600 rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

With slightly smaller tires than its sibling, the X-Blade has a 80/110R17 unit at the front and a 130/70/R17 tire at the rear. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear, with Honda's Combi-Braking System (CBS).

As the X-Blade is targeted at a younger audience, Honda has kept their new motorcycle as vibrant as possible with up to five colour options - Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Frozen Silver, Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.
