Fashion and Protection Merge for SPIDI’s Brand New Motorcycle Rebel Leather Jacket

Since 1977, Italian born SPIDI has become a prominent household name among motorcyclists, especially in regard to motorcycle leather jackets. With years of experience behind their finest leather jackets, the latest apparel to come out of the company has also yet to disappoint.

Named the Rebel, the company states that “there is no better name for a jacket that represents the offspring of such a classic world but with such an untamable soul.”

Equipped with Italian crafted Carbon/Keramide external shields on the shoulders and comfortable EN1621-1 certified Warrior Lite shoulder and elbow protectors, the Rebel leather jacket rocks a classic look and technically advanced protection for the rider.

According to the press release, “both carbon and keramide fibers have several advantages including high rigidity, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. These properties have made them very popular in the motorsports industry and contributed to reaching new limits and developing solutions never seen before.”

Flex Tenax panels are also integrated at the sides, shoulder blades and inner-arms to enhance riding comfort on cafe-racers and naked bikes. Finally, there is also optional water and windproofing, as well as Step-in-Clothing thermal liner option for the rider.
