Experience a Whole New World with Vekoma-built Motorbike Roller Coasters for your first riding experience

We understand the initial panic that sets in before mounting a motorcycle where suddenly, it’s bigger and higher than you’ve imagined and you’re not quite sure you still want to try it. We’ve got you covered. We discovered a new way of overcoming that fresh wave of fear that can overwhelm a learning motorcycle rider that has nothing to do with motorcycle courses driving centres.

Instead, dip your foot in the pool of motorcycling by riding roller coasters. We know it sounds sketchy but hear us out. These three coaster rides will give you accurate representations of what it would feel like to ride a motorcycle at top speed which we guarantee will alleviate some of your concerns on your own capability at riding at a normal speed.

Built by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma Rides, all three of these motorbike-like coasters can be found in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and China.

 

 

First is the Booster Bike in Toverland, an amusement park located at Sevenum, Netherlands that pioneered the motorbike roller coaster movement. In 2004, it received the Best Idea Award at the Euro Amusement Show in Paris because of its unique characteristic of having the riders sit in the classic riding position – leaning forward with arms on the handlebars – on a motorcycle replica, secured with a harness that pushes down on the back of the rider.

Velocity is another steel sitdown motorbike-like coaster built by Vekoma in the themed land Metropolis of Flamingo Land in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire, England.

 

Lastly, 5,000 miles away is the Motorbike Coaster in the Screaming Zone of Chimelong Paradise in the Pangyu District of Guangzhou, Gunagdong, China.

What we would like to see more from these rides, though, are loop de loops! If you are an adrenaline junkie like us – although if you’re a motorist, or at least planning to be one, you probable already are - then you would want the maximum experience of motorbike roller coasters at their top speed with various tricks and turns.
