Can Harley Davidson and Indian Motorcycles Keep Their Place At The Top With New and Improved Race Track For 2018 Dyatona TT?
The Daytona TT race course was re-imagined and re-designed just in time for the 2018 American Flat Track season. As one of the highlights of Daytona Bike Week, the track was said to be made much bigger, utilizing the Nascar pit road at Daytona International Speedway in Florida.

Chris Carr, seven-time Grand National Champion, and his design team extended the track design from the tri-oval and took over the pitlane, gaining over 40ft of width and twice the radius of the two book-end corners to raise the cornering speed and to increase the passing opportunities of racers.

The logic for these modifications is simple: the higher the cornering speed, the faster the straightaway speed, which makes all the difference to whether the racers win or not, keeping in mind the 6ft-high jump – said to be the largest jump they would face for the whole season - that goes immediately into the second straightaway.
What we’re most excited to see, though, is the continuation of the showdown between Harley Davidson and Indian Motorcycle while other marques try to topple the two reigning champions.

Beginning March 15, 2018, the “BIGGER, BETTER AND FASTER” 2018 Daytona TT is already expected to be the “most exhilarating race” during Bike Week at Daytona.
