AGV Releases Replica Model of Multiple World Champion Giacomo Agostini’s Helmet
A helmet similar to what 15 Grand Prix world title holder Giacomo Agostini wore in the duration of his career will now be made available. The Italian participated in 186 races, of which he won 122 and podiumed 159 times.
The AGV helmet Agostini wore was replicated into the new X3000 as part of the AGV Legends Collection that was inspired from old models that were worn by Italy’s most renowned motorcycle racers.Expected to arrive in the middle of the year, there are three designs for the X3000 – the AGO, Gloria and Super AGV.

The X3000 AGO bears the color of the Italian flag and is seen from behind, which Agostini likes to joke is how his rivals saw the helmet: from behind. It offers all the modern safety features, whilst retaining the authentic style of the original design which includes a contoured chin guard. It is currently priced at SG$898.
Meanwhile, the X3000 Gloria, standing at SG$653, replicates the design of Agostini’s unique race suit. The five colors of the Olympic rings separating the white from the red, looking as unique as his race livery.The Super AGV version, however, will be much cheaper with four color options. At SG$571, there will be black, red/white, yellow/black, and white. With clean lines, minimalistic color combinations, its simplicity and elegance mark the early versions that led to the retirement of the single-color motorcycle helmets.

Another that is part of the AGV Legends Collection is the X70, an open face helmet that pays tribute to Renzo Pasolini, featuring a double d-ring fastening system and a removable interior. Both models come with an authentic carry bag.
