2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 30th Anniversary Edition
The Kawasaki family is celebrating the anniversary of one it's top models in their history, the Kawasaki Ninja by releasing 30th anniversary editions of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
The first Kawasaki Ninja model was released on 1984 under the name Kawasaki GPZ 900, or Ninja 900, that had worldwide fame since it was featured on the Tom Cruise movie, Top Gun. Several models followed ahead but the first one to carry the true and global Ninja name was the Kawasaki Ninja 600R, that was released on 1985 and this is the anniversary the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is celebrating. The Ninja model is considered to be one of the first true sports bike that came from Japan, it's as legendary as the CBR family from Honda or the GSXR from Suzuki or the R family from Yamaha.
The first Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R featured a 592 cc, 4-stroke, transverse 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve-per-cylinder engine, which is, at still today, the base in most of sports bike around the world.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 30th anniversary edition features Lime Green/Pearl Stardust White paint, green pinstripe decals on the wheels, and 30th Anniversary badges on each side of the fairing and the 636 cc engine that was so well accepted back on the 636 series. It has selectable power modes, which can be used on rainy days for more safety, the Three-Mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) that features three mode traction control according to our needs going from a more racing mode to a more day by day use mode. It can also be turned off if we want to. Another feature is the Supersport-Grade KIBS ABS With Monobolic Nissin Calipers, along with a top of the line breaks and discs the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R features an ABS made for a top class sport bike. Another features we have is the Separate Function Fork - Big Piston: (SFF-BP), the Bottom-Link Uni-Trak Rear Suspension a lightweight chassis.
This bike will be a head turner whenever you see it on the street. We have no official from Kawasaki as it will reach the Singapore market, but what we do know is that, if it ever arrive we will need a Class 2 license to ride this beautiful Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 30th anniversary edition.
